How can I get started hosting and list my space?

Listing your place is completely free, just make an account using your College email by clicking on the user icon in the top right to sign up. Next, onboard as a host by navigating to your host-dashboard and click onboard. You will be redirected to Stripe onboarding. Once completed, you can create and manage listings in your host-dashboard, as well as reject or accept bookings. We recommend at least 2 listings to maximise your earnings!

Are there any specific requirements my space must have?

Not at all! As long if you have some space, you can list your space on Unilocker.

How do I get paid?

At Unilocker, we handle all payments between hosts and students to provide added security and ensure both parties feel confident and safe. During the onboarding process, hosts provide their bank details. Once a student books your space and you accept the booking, the payment is credited to your host account. After the storage period ends, the amount is securely transferred to your bank account. To ensure reliability and safety, we use Stripe to process all financial transaction

Is Unilocker safe?

Unilocker is designed exclusively for the London University community. Your information is protected as all accounts are verified to be part of the University community. We recommend you meet with hosts or potential renters on campus to build trust and to get to know each other! After all, we are one big community!

Does Unilocker take any fees?

Unilocker is 100% free! We take no payments from renters and it does not cost anything to host your space.
